Go 2 Fencing Service

Fencing comes in many different forms and styles, which can provide security, kerb appeal and borderline, making it a popular choice for both residential and commercial properties.

Making garden screens for area separation or creating a feature for plants to climb is also another use for fencing. From prefabricated fenced panels to bespoke made garden screens there’s something for everyone and Go 2 Maintenance can support you goals in achieving the look you wish for.

Fences have evolved with modern technological advancements;

·  Wood panels, posts and gravel boards have been pre-treated and can be stained and painted yearly to prolong the lifespan of the wood.

·   Modern day materials such as concrete posts and gravel boards are now preferred to the wood alternative for longevity.

·   Fence panels now come in reinforced composite too, which is UV protected. So, it won’t fade. It resists stains and doesn’t require re-sealing or painting.

We’re commonly asked to repair fencing that has become weak or even fallen down as a result of strong winds or plant growth.

Go 2 Services

·     Installing new wood or concrete fence posts

·     Renewing rotten and damaged gravel boards

Tom was extremely professional and pragmatic in helping us understand the pros/cons of options available, carried the work out diligently and on time (including videos / photos of progress of roof work that was harder to see) and was a pleasure to work with throughout. I would highly recommend the company to anyone.

It is believed that the first fences were constructed by humans as early as 8,000 BCE.

Ancient Egyptians and Mesopotamians used fences to protect their crops and animals from predators.

The longest fence in the world is the Dingo Fence or Dog Fence in Australia to keep dingoes out of the relatively fertile south-east part of the continent (where they have largely been exterminated) and protect the sheep flocks of southern Queensland. It’s 3,488 miles long and stretches from Jimbour on the Darling Downs to the west of Eyre peninsula on cliffs of the Nullarbor.
